Sanborn Maps

The Arizona Historical Society in Tucson has several Sanborn maps available for patrons to use in our Reading Room. If you’re not used to reading a Sanborn map they can be quite confusing. We have a couple of guides available for use in the Reading Room, but if you want to study up a bit before you come you can take a look at this online Sanborn Map Guide put up in PDF form by the Washington State Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation (thanks guys!).
