Launch Day: Welcome to the Blog!

4 Feb

Welcome to the Arizona Historical Society in Tucson’s brand new blog!

The Arizona Historical Society has been closed for a while as we make many exciting changes. This blog is one of these changes. However, we see it less as a “change” and more as an evolution of the interactions we offer to the community we serve. As we move forward, you will see more and more content go up on the blog. What will begin as a weekly posting schedule, we soon hope to broaden to include a wide range of fun, informative, educational and interactive posts from staff and volunteers in many areas of our division for the entertainment of our excellent users.

Take a few moments to click around on the blog and explore these first pages. If you choose to “follow” this blog via the link on the right then you will receive each new post in your email when it is published, or you can check back each week to see what’s new. We look forward to taking this journey into the blog world with you, our fabulous users!

Take a look below at a few “Before” and “After” shots of our newly painted Reading Room. We’re all excited about our new colorful home! We hope you’ll come in and check it out in person.
